TRIRIGA Taps Key Peregrine Executives to Lead New Real Estate Facilities Division
New Hires Follow Recent Acquisition of Peregrine’s FacilityCenter Product Line, Further Positioning TRIRIGA to Help Organizations Manage and Control Capital Assets
LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Aug 6, 2002: TRIRIGA INC., a leading provider of Web-based technology to centrally manage and control capital assets, today announced the appointment of two new members to the TRIRIGA executive team, brought on to lead the company’s new Real Estate & Facility Operations division. Roger B. Rittenhouse and John Smart, previously of Peregrine Systems, Inc., will join TRIRIGA as part of the company’s recent acquisition of Peregrine’s FacilityCenter(R) product line.

Mr. Rittenhouse will serve as Vice President and General Manager of TRIRIGA’s Real Estate & Facility Operations division, where he will be responsible for bringing together a team of top talent that will continue to build recognition and business for TRIRIGA within the real estate, facilities management, and operations and maintenance markets. He will focus on positioning TRIRIGA as an industry leader, emphasizing the company’s superior product offerings and strong customer focus. Mr. Rittenhouse will also play an instrumental role in the integration of Real Estate Facilities products and processes with the rest of TRIRIGA’s portfolio.
Prior to joining TRIRIGA, Mr. Rittenhouse served as the Area Vice President and General Manager for Peregrine’s Real Estate and Facilities division, where he oversaw sales, product management, and product marketing. In his tenure at Peregrine, he also held several other positions, including Western Area Vice President for Facility Sales. Previously, Mr. Rittenhouse was the Vice President of the Western Area Operations for Innovative Tech Systems and Director of the West Coast Region for Intergraph Corporation. He holds a BA in Management/Economics from Marietta College.
Mr. Smart will work with Mr. Rittenhouse as Area Vice President for TRIRIGA’s Real Estate & Facility Operations division. He will be focused on planning and developing the next generation of facility solutions that will position TRIRIGA FacilityCenter as the market leader. In this capacity, Mr. Smart will oversee the support, professional services, marketing, and development departments of TRIRIGA’s Real Estate & Facility Operations division. He will also play a lead role in the integration of FacilityCenter functionality with the TRIRIGA Intelligent Business System(TM) (IBS) solution.
Previously, Mr. Smart served as the Director and Chief Architect of Peregrine’s Real Estate and Facilities division, where he led product development, strategic planning, and product management for Peregrine. He also worked as the Lead Architect for Peregrine’s Sales Integration team, and was an integral member of the Infrastructure Management team focused on integration planning & strategy. Prior to Peregrine, Mr. Smart was the Executive Vice President and Director for Innovative Tech Systems. He holds a BA in Management/Economics and a BS in Computer Science from Denison University.
