Troubleshooting errors when uploading to Document Manager


There can be a few different causes for exceptions with loading documents to Document Manager. This document is designed to help users troubleshoot the cause. Usually all a user sees is the follow exception: “New Document Error” or “Failed to process the request due to an unexpected error.” Check the logs to see if more information can be provided to determine the cause. Do simple tests with small text files to eliminate file size, document type, timeouts. Load a file from a local drive to avoid the problem being with a mapped drive.
