If you open a Microsoft Office document from IBM TRIRIGA behind a web server, you might be prompted for authentication. The specific technical reasons are discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article KB838028. That KB article applies to Microsoft Office 2003 onwards. This KB article KB2019105 covers some workarounds you can try to implement on your IIS or other web server fronting IBM TRIRIGA. But there is nothing that can be done on the IBM TRIRIGA Platform to correct for this.
