I’m new to TRIRIGA and noticed from an Administrator perspective, there isn’t a user interface method to change a user’s password after they have logged in and now have forgotten his/her password. The Force Password Reset form only forces the user to change their password after they have logged in. I’ve searched Google and have only found that a user password reset is done via the backdoor way through the database via an update SQL script:
update USER_CREDENTIALS set USER_CREDENTIALS.PASSWORD = NULL where USER_ACCOUNT = 'mjane';
I’m hoping there is an easier way to change a user’s password after they have forgotten it. Can someone share their suggestion?
Login as Admin, open the People record, click on the Associations tab, and select the triPeople > My Profile BO. Select and open the Associated To line item. This opens the My Profile record. In the My Profile record, click the My Profile tab, reset the new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields, and click Save & Close. The password will be reset for this user.
