How do you delete records from the hierarchy view in TRIRIGA?

I’ve seen a weird problem. In the hierarchical view, I can’t delete the record properly. After clicking on the “Delete” button, the record did disappear immediately. But after restarting the server, the deleted record showed up again in the hierarchical tree.

I found that the deleted records were in “Retired” status. So the “Delete” button just retires a record? Can we do a real “Delete” (update record to “null” state) with this button? Also, why is the retired record displayed in the hierarchical view? I’ve tested the scenario in both Geographic and Organization hierarchical views. Thanks in advance for your help!
