What are the different ways of creating spaces in TRIRIGA?

What are the different ways of creating spaces in TRIRIGA? Is CAD Integrator the only way to do it? Is it possible to create spaces in TRIRIGA using Data Integrator from a text or Excel file? Also, how is CAD Integrator accessed? What data fields does it require? Currently, we create all of our spaces through an external vendor who loads the spaces into TRIRIGA through CAD Integrator. We would like to know if there are other ways of creating spaces in TRIRIGA.

There is also an integration with Autodesk Revit. Revit is a BIM design tool. The integration provides an add-in to the Revit product and it allows you to easily create the building, floor, and space records, as well as automating the publication of floor plans (without the need to manually polyline and attach the spaces). For more information, see this topic in the IBM Knowledge Center: Integrating, publishing, and synchronizing BIM information.

In addition, you can create spaces or any record really via multiple integration avenues that aren’t CAD or BIM. All of our integration methods are documented here: Integrating data with external applications.
