In the report/query setup, the setting of the filter operator is “Equals” for Number type fields. But when the report/query is run, the filter operator changes to “Contains” for them.
Some reports/queries can be fixed by bringing up the report or query, changing the “Equals” filter to a “Not Equals” filter, saving it, then changing it back to an “Equals” filter, and saving it again. Meanwhile, older platforms allowed filters of “Contains” vs. “Equals”. Moving forward, we fixed an issue with report column filters in the TRIRIGA application. Queries with numeric filter types would show a “Contains” column filter even though they were set to show “Equals”.
