What does this “Connection Event Listener” fatal error mean?


I am getting the following error. What does it mean?

[7/14/16 6:41:52:186 EDT] 00000069 com.ibm.ejs.j2c.ConnectionEventListener A J2CA0056I: The Connection Manager received a fatal connection error from the Resource Adapter for resource jdbc/local/DataSource-TRIRIGA-data. The exception is: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Connection reset by peer: socket write error:java.net.SocketException: Connection reset by peer: socket write error

This generally implies that someone started a process and then cancelled it while it was in flight. For example, maybe someone started a document download request and then closed their browser window while the request was still pending. It’s generally a harmless message.
