IV87771: Portal sections do not show defined number of results

When using a query on a portal section, the system ignores the Result Count that is defined on the query or the Max Result setting on the portal section. I have set a few query reports to show only 20 results and the same on the portal section settings. The system still displays the entire data set on the portal which eventually crashed the browser page. I then used the Prompt Before query feature with the same result. The system ignores it and tries to process the entire data set onto the portal page. This is not observed in older environments.

We needed to update the logic to better determine the Group By report displayed in the portal section. Moving forward, an issue was resolved where some portal section queries would display all results instead of the maximum result size specified in the Portal Builder.
