How do you pass multi-select list values back to the IN user filter?


Can anyone provide what’s needed to “convert” what BIRT sends back as the parameter value when a multi-select list report parameter is used? For example, I get “Ljava.lang.Object;@ae9639dc” instead of “1000495”,”1000494″. And also where to put it (beforeOpen script)?

I see some non-TRIRIGA posts for similar multi-select issues online, but I’m not working with a SQL query updating the Where clause; it’s passing back to the TRIRIGA user filter (IN operator). So far, I haven’t been able to get anything I’ve found to work. If it matters, it’s a text field in TRIRIGA that’s being filtered.
